User Interface System Settings

Overview of System Settings

• Within Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSC), administrator users can access system settings to modify how certain functions are handled.  These settings allow each client to customize certain areas of TSC to best fit their business practices.

• There are many settings within TSC that are pre-configured whenever a new site is delivered.  These should not be changed.  This article is to point out and explains the settings which are available for clients to modify to meet their needs.

• After any changes are made to settings within TSC, be sure to save the changes with the Save button and to clear the application cache with the Clear Cache button at the top of the Settings page for the changes to take effect.

User Interface Settings

• The User Interface settings are for modifying how certain functions are displayed within TSC.

• Select Setup/Settings and click on the triangle to view the Authentication menu.

BondOverrideIncludePrefixSuffix

• The BondOverrideIncludePrefixSuffix setting allows for the bond number prefix and suffix to be added when entering a bond number manually.

BondTypeSearchRowCount

• The BondTypeSearchRowCount setting determines the maximum number of search results that will appear when searching for a bond configuration in the Free Form Search at both Buy a Bond and Maintain Bond.

CopyBondSortByObligeeCode

• The CopyBondSortByObligeeCode setting alters the Copy Bond obligee dropdown to include the Obligee Code field as the first set of information and sorts by this field and then displays the obligee name subsequently.

EnableContractBillingTypes

• The EnableContractBillingTypes setting separates the billing types and options for the agency billing type selections on the agency create and edit pages.

MaxBondMenuItems

• The MaxBondMenuItems setting determines the maximum number of records that will appear in the History and Past Documents dropdowns on a bond.

RestrictStorePeopleSearchToSsn

• The RestrictStorePeopleSearchToSsn setting limits the person's search on the TSC Store to only the SSN, rather than the account number, e-mail, and SSN.  Enter True or False in the Value column for this setting.

ShowLast4OfSsn

• The ShowLast4OfSsn setting designates if the last 4 digits of a social security number are displayed, while the remaining numbers remain hidden.  Enter True or False in the Value column for this setting.

ShowLicenseAgreementAtFirstLogin

• The ShowLicenseAgreementAtFirstLogin setting forces any new user that is logging into TSC for the first time to agree to a license agreement. 

  • This is a customizable message that can be modified to client’s needs.  For modifying this message, contact TSC Support.

SuppressEsuretyAttorneyInFact

• The SuppressEsuretyAttorneyInFact setting allows the Attorney-In-Fact (AIF) dropdown to not be displayed when purchasing a bond and no AIF is designated on the bond. 

• This is designed to be used with an AIF question group which would allow for the AIF information to be entered manually at each bond purchase.  Please refer to the Adding Questions to Question Groups guide for more information.

  • Enter True or False in the Value column for this setting.

UseQuickQuote

• The UseQuickQuote setting adds an additional page to the bond application process immediately after the initial bond information page.  This page is editable as a page message, and it is purposed to display the likely premium calculation for a bond configuration without additional underwriting criteria.  Please refer to the Setting Up Page Messages guide for more informaion.
