Managing Bond Application Questions

A user can assign certain groupings of questions and rules to a bond configuration. These groupings of questions and rules are called applications. There are five types of applications: Bond, Account, Category, Class, and Root.
A bond application is a grouping of questions and rules that are specific to the bond configuration. This application cannot be applied to any other bond configurations automatically. Of course, the same questions and rules can be applied manually to other bond configurations.

Select Maintain Bond/Manage Applications to add questions to the bond application for a bond configuration while maintaining a bond.

Adding Questions to a Bond Application

Select the Questions link to add questions to the bond application.
- Please refer to the Adding Questions to Question Groups and Question Groups - Creating and Editing guides for details about creating questions.
Click on Choose Questions to add a question to the bond application.

Select the question group and the questions will be displayed for that group.
Click the Is Selected column to apply a question to the bond application.
This will display a checkbox.
- Check the box to have the question asked on the bond application.
- Users can also use the Select All and Deselect All buttons above the table for the user’s convenience.
Questions that are being asked on the bond application are marked as True while questions that are not being asked, leave unchecked as False.
Click Save or Cancel to remove any changes made since opening the Choose Questions pop-up or since the last save (whichever came later).

On this screen, users can change the default value for the Required and Life Cycle columns to meet the specific need for this bond configuration.
User can also drag and drop the questions within the question group to rearrange the questions’ field order. To do this, click to the right of the Field Order value and drop the item on top of the question the selected question would be above.
Users can also edit the values for Field Order, Indexable, Indexable Text, Optional, and Optional Text for question groups.

Click Save or Cancel to remove any changes made since opening the Choose Questions pop-up or since the last save (whichever came later).

Click on Choose Questions and select the question group the question belongs to remove a question currently applied to a bond application.
- Click on the Is Selected column for the question, and uncheck the box.
