Simulation Credit
Overview of a Simulation Credit
Simulation credit allows users in Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSC) to test rules and Premium Rate Definitions that are based on information obtained in a credit report (credit score, bankruptcy count, and bankruptcy score) without actually reaching out to a credit provider.
Simulation bases credit on an applicant's social security number therefore the social security question must be asked on any configuration that utilizes simulation credit. The applicant's credit score will be the first three digits of the social security number, the bankruptcy count will be the next two digits after that, and the bankruptcy score will be the last four digits. For example, the social security number 751-01-0031 will have a credit score of 751, a bankruptcy count of 1, and a bankruptcy score of 31.
By default, a simulation credit configuration is delivered to all customers in TSC.
