Bond Categories

Overview of Bond Categories

  • In Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSC), a bond category is one of the defining criteria for a bond configuration. Each bond category is grouped within a bond class.

  • For Commercial Bonds, there are five criteria (State, Class, Category, Obligee, and Carrier).  For Contract Bonds, there are three criteria (Class, Category, and Carrier).  The combination of these credentials must be unique per bond configuration. Please refer to the Creating and Editing a Bond Class guide for more information.
