Overview of Store Values for Build a Bond
In Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSSC), bond configurations are built in the 'Build a Bond' area. This article shows how to create, edit, and delete descriptions - or Store Values for bond configurations in various agency TSSC Stores.
Accessing The Store Values for Build a Bond
Select Build a Bond/Store Values.
A grid containing records of Store Values for the bond configuration will appear.
If the Store Values grid is left empty, but the bond is put on the TSSC Store Front, the bond will have a defaulted Store Value.
The defaulted Store Value's Name and Description would both be the title of the bond.
Creating a New Store Value
Select the Create link at the bottom left of the screen to create a new Store Value.
The view will transition to an editor that will ask for the Name of the Store Value and a body of text to serve as the Description of the bond configuration.
The Name and Description fields will only show up on the TSSC Store.
This field does not specify the Name value on the grid, this will be explained below.
Select the Submit button to save the Store Value when done editing
Select the Back to List button to go back to the list of Store Values.
If more than one Store Value is added, the bottom left of the page will contain a drop-down menu allowing the selection of which assigned agency this Store Value is meant for.
This is what determines the Name value of the Store Value on the grid view. However, this drop-down menu will never appear for the Store Value labeled Default in the Store Value grid.
Editing a Store Value
Select the Edit link on the record containing the desired Store Value you wish to edit.
Complete your edits.
The view will transition to an editor that will make the 'Name' of the Store Value, the agency the Store Value is meant for, and the body of text serving as the Store Value editable.
Select the Submit button to save the Store Value when done editing
Select the Back to List button to go back to the list of Store Values.
Deleting a Store Value
Select the Delete link of the record containing the unwanted Store Value to delete the Store Value.
Selecting the Delete link will permanently delete the entire Store Value, unlike in other areas of TSSC where you are able to inactivate/reactivate.
This action will remove the Store Value from service.
You will be prompted to confirm or cancel your action.
The Store Value as Viewed from the TSSC Store
When a customer views the bond from the agency that the Store Value is assigned to, the bond's name will be the Store Value's Name. Click on the Details button on the right of the Bond's record to view the Store Value.
The view will transition to show the Name and Description values for the Bond's Store Value.
