Creating, Editing, and Copying Bond Applications

Overview of Account Defaults for a Bond

  • A user can assign certain groupings of questions and rules to a bond configuration.  These groupings of questions and rules are called applications.  There are five types of applications: Bond, Root, Class, Category, and Account applications.

Creating and Editing an Application

  • Select Maintain Applications/[Choose the Application Type].

  • Select the Add New Item.  A new row will appear.

    • Enter the name and description for the application by click on the Name. This will display an editable field.

  • Edit other fields by clicking into the field.

  • Click on the Save Changes button at the top of the table.

  • Remove all the changes made since entering Maintain Applications or since your last save (whichever was done last), using the Cancel Changes button.

Copying an Application

  • Select the Copy Application link as shown above.

  • This will produce a new row with the newly created application.

  • This will copy all the questions and rules applied to the original application.

  • The name will contain Copy at the beginning of the newly created application’s name.

    • It is highly recommended to edit the application’s name after copying the application to avoid confusion.

  • Select the Save Changes button.

  • Remove all the changes made since entering ‘Maintain Applications’ or since your last save (whichever was done last), by clicking on the Cancel Changes button.
