Overview of Overlays for Dropdown Questions

• When a question that is configured to use a dropdown list is used in an overlay the overlay will display what’s under the Value section for the selected dropdown option.

Example of Overlays for Dropdown Questions

• The PDFuses an overlay for question Example Question. This question is configured as a dropdown that uses a Dropdown List.

• The dropdown list is configured with three options.

Display                                  Value                                    Order

Option 1                               Red                                        1

Option 2                               Yellow                                   2

Option 3                               Green                                      3

• If the applicant chooses Option 1 from the dropdown then Red would appear for the overlay. If the applicant chooses Option 3, then Green would appear for the overlay.
