Agency Bulk Assignments for Maintaining Bonds

Overview of Agency Bulk Assignments

• Agencies can be assigned to the configuration that is currently being maintained. Agencies can be assigned in bulk or on an agency by agency basis. This guide will demonstrate how to utilize Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSC) bulk assignment functionality for maintaining bonds.

Bulk Assignment Area

Select Maintain Bond/Assign Agency.

• The Bulk Assignment area encompasses the area below the Test Mode Button to the beginning of the Agency by State grid as indicated below. 

Override agency defaults with values below

• Using this option will update agencies' default commission rates with the ones provided in the bulk commission area.

• Purchase Rate

  • The commission used at new bond purchases for bonds purchased from the TSC application.

• Renewal Rate

  • The commission used at subsequent renewals for bonds purchased from the TSC application.

• SureLynx Purchase Rate

  • The commission used at new bond purchases for bonds purchased from TSC Stores.

• SureLynx Renewal Rate

  • The commission used at subsequent renewals for bonds purchased from TSC Stores.

Use Tiered Commissions

• If the Use Tiered Commissions checkbox is checked, the commission be determined by a predefined Tiered Commission.

• Purchase Rate

  • The Tiered Commission used at new bond purchase for bonds purchased inside of TSC.

• Renewal Rate

  • The Tiered Commission used at subsequent renewals for bonds purchased inside of TSC.

• SureLynx Purchase Rate

  • The Tiered Commission used at new bond purchase for bonds purchased inside of TSC Stores.

• SureLynx Renewal Rate

  • The Tiered Commission used at subsequent renewals for bonds purchased inside of TSC Stores.

Override existing assignments

• If this checkbox is enabled, existing assignments will be overridden with the values provided in the bulk commission area. This will not remove agency defaults for assignments that are currently using them.

Use Agency Defaults

• If this checkbox is checked. The configuration will use the assigned agency's default commission in place of the commission set up in the bulk commission area.

Add All Agencies

• This button will apply the commission defined in the bulk assignment area to all agencies in TSC for the current bond configuration. 

Set commission for all assigned

• This button will update commission for all assigned agencies.

Applying Bulk Assignments to all Agents within a State

• The bulk assignments configured in the bulk assignment area can additionally be applied to all agencies inside of a state.

• Select the Add State button to apply the bulk commission assignment to all agencies within a state.
