Actions for Purchased Renewals (System Administrator)
Overview of Purchased Renewal Actions
Once a renewal is purchased, it will be pending until the date in which it will be promoted to replace the current bond. The renewal page will display an array of information such as the basic bond configuration criteria, premium and penalty values, account and agency information, the answers from underwriting questions, etc. The renewal will then be able to have certain actions performed on it as described below.
Accessing the Renewal Options
Select the Actions menu on the bond.

Cancel Renewal
A purchased renewal can be cancelled. This action is not reversible once submitted, although a new renewal can be applied for and purchased at a later time if needed. By default, this action will return all premium collected from the renewal.
After submitting the action, the Cancel Renewal confirmation page will load. This page will include the renewal page information in editable form.
After all adjustments are made, submit the Cancel Renewal action with the Submit button at the bottom of the screen, or select the Cancel Renewal button at the top of the page to confirm the action.
Select Cancel to return to the renewal without completing the action.

Submit Renewal NPBR
The information on a renewal may be altered via a rider. Within Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers (TSC) there are two types of riders: non-Premium Bearing Riders (NPBR) and Premium Bearing Riders (PBR). NPBRs are used for basic modifications of non-financial data, such as the applicant’s name, address, telephone number, etc. This action is typically allowed to be used by more users than the PBRs, which are usually reserved for CSRs and Admin type users.
After submitting the action, the NPBR confirmation page will load. This page will include the renewal page information in editable form. Although the premium, penalty, commission amount, etc. will appear in the Premium section; these fields will not be adjustable.

Any NPBR questions applied to this bond configuration will appear at the bottom of the page.
After all adjustments are made, submit the NPBR action with the Submit button at the bottom of the screen, or with the Submit Renewal NPBR button at the top of the page to confirm the action.
Select Cancel to return to the renewal without completing the action.

Renewal NPBR Actions
Since rules may be applied to NPBRs, the NPBR will be processed by the decision engine once the action is submitted.

Auto-Approval
The NPBR passes all auto-approval rules and the changes are completed.
Auto-Rejection
The NPBR meets one or more auto-rejection rules, the NPBR will be rejected and the user will be returned to the renewal page.
Referral
The NPBR does not pass all auto-approval rules and the NPBR will be placed in a referred state.
If an NPBR is referred, authorized users may then perform the following actions on the referred NPBR
Approve NPBR
The user may approve the NPBR and the changes will be completed.
Edit Info for NPBR
The user can make adjustments to the NPBR information. Once the action is completed, the NPBR will remain in a referred status.
Reassign NPBR
The user may reassign the referred NPBR to another authorized user to make a determination.

Reject NPBR
The user may reject the NPBR. The changes will then be dropped, and the user will be returned to the renewal page.
If using the EnableRiderDocumentGenerationOptions setting, a pop-up will appear prompting the user to select one of four options to produce the correct set of documents:
Print Rider Documents - generates documents assigned to this rider lifecycle.
Reprint Renewal Documents - regenerates documents assigned to the renewal lifecycle.
Reprint Original Bond Documents - regenerates documents assigned to the new bond lifecycle.
Do Not Print Documents - will not generate any documents, except if an optional document is selected.
Submit Renewal PBR
PBRs are used for modifications of all data on the renewal, such as the expiration date, premium amount, penalty, commission, etc.; as well as the data able to be modified by NPBRs such as applicant’s name, address, telephone number, etc. This action is typically allowed to be used only by CSRs and Admin type users.

After submitting the action, the PBR confirmation page will load. This page will include the renewal page information in editable form. The premium, penalty, commission amount, etc. will appear in the Premium section and will be adjustable.
Any PBR questions applied to this bond configuration will appear at the bottom of the page.

After all adjustments are made, submit the PBR action with the Submit button at the bottom of the screen, or with the Submit Renewal PBR button at the top of the page to confirm the action.
Select Cancel to return to the renewal without completing the action.

Auto-Rejection
The PBR meets one or more auto-rejection rules, the PBR will be rejected and the user will be returned to the renewal page.

The user may approve the PBR and the changes will be completed.
Edit Info for PBR
The user can make adjustments to the PBR information. Once the action is completed, the PBR will remain in a referred status.
