The following stories are associated with this feature, and additional stories will be added in subsequent releases for the full implementation of the feature:

WFOB-492 – Obligee Tax Exemption Question to Tax Pop-Up

WFOB-493 – Applicant Tax Exemption Question to Tax Pop-Up

  1. When a bond is eligible for tax exemption and the obligee is not already designated as tax exempt, the applicant tax exemption question has been added to the Tax Pop-Up in the Premium section on the bond page.

    1. When the obligee is generic, the applicant exemption question will appear only if the user designates the obligee as not exempt.

WFOB-494 – Implementation of Tax Exemption for Generic Obligees

When the bond's obligee is generic and the obligee exemption question is answered as Yes, the tax exemption is implemented to exempt the bond from taxes, and tax integrations will not pull in tax rates and amounts. Instead, the tax rates and amounts will be set to zero, the Municipality is set to TAX EXEMPT, and the name to the code 9999.

WFOB-318 – Multi-Agency Agents Feature

Agents have been previously tied to a single agency. This feature is expanding that capability to allow an agent to be associated with multiple agencies configured in the system. The following stories are associated with this feature:

WFOB-424 – Assign Agencies to Agent Record

  1. Admin users can link multiple agencies to an agent when editing the agent.

    1. When navigating to All>System Tables>Agencies, click 'Agents’ link on any agency to access the Active Agents page. Then click the ‘Add Agent’ button or click ‘Edit’ for any of the existing agents, then click the ‘Assign Agencies’ button in the Assigned Agencies page section.

    2. Assign Agencies Dialog Window:

      1. Agency Lookup

      2. Search criteria will be used to filter the Agency list when data in any of the entry boxes changes.

    3. The Agency Lookup will include the following:

      1. Name

      2. Agency Code

      3. State dropdown

    4. ‘Available’ box:

      1. On opening, the Available box will populate with ALL active agencies in the system, except agencies which are actively assigned to the current agent.

    5. ‘Selected’ box (the displayed cards are selected from the searchable agencies)

    6. Cancel Button:

      1. This will close the “Assign Agencies” modal when clicked, leaving any cards in the ‘Selected’ box as UNASSIGNED.

    7. Assign (# Count) button:

      1. Will be titled “Assign (# Count)” with a count of selected Agencies in parenthesis.

WFOB-427 – Saving of Last User Session for Multi-Agency Agents

Agent users assigned to multiple agencies will automatically be logged into the last agency they accessed upon a new login session.

WFOB-531 – Addition of Assign Agencies Button to Agent Page

When editing an agent’s user, admin users have a new page section that lists all the active agencies assigned to the user.

WFOB-540 – Updated Navigation for Agency Management

Admin users will see an updated navigation menu for Agencies so that it has its own navigation pane that will default to the Active Agencies landing page, but also have a link to a page for all Agents.

WFOB-541/542 – Active Agency Page Creation and Logic

Admin users have access to a “Active Agents” table that displays all agent users for all agencies. Admin users can create new agents, access agent profiles, and view agent signatures from this screen.

Admin users will be given a warning message when inactivating an agent:

The agent user's signature can be edited from this screen:

WFOB-543 – Edit Agent: "Back to List" Button Navigation Updates

  1. This ticket created the functionality for the back to list button on the edit agent screen depending on the page which the user navigated from.

    1. In All>System Tables>Agencies>Agents click ‘Details' under 'Agencies’ column to navigate to the Agent page. By clicking the ‘Back to List' button, the system will navigate back to the 'Agents' page.

    2. In All>System Tables>Agencies click ‘Agents’ under the ‘Links’ column to access the 'Activated Agents Page', click ‘Edit’ from the ‘Actions' column to access the Agent page. By clicking the ‘Back to List' button, the system will navigate back to the ‘Active Agents’ Page.

WFOB-547 – Update Username and Change Password Button for Linked Agents

  1. When admin users view the profile of an agent that is a linked agent to a parent agent, the user will see the parent username instead of the auto assigned number for the linked agent and be directed to the parent account to make password updates so that the parent agent is the source of truth for access and credentials.

    1. In the profile dropdown:

      1. If an agent is a linked agent and not the primary agent account:

        1. The auto generated numeric ID is hidden.

        2. The username of the parent linked account is displayed.

  1. When “Change Password” is selected, and agent is a linked agent and NOT the primary agent account:

    1. A modal will display that reads ‘Password is controlled from this accounts linked parent. Are you sure you want to switch to [username]?’

    2. [username] is the username of the original account this account is linked to.

WFOB-600 – Update Agent Username in Action Status for Bond Actions

The username in parenthesis that displays after the Action Status for bond transactions was updated to display the Master Agent Username when the user is a multi-agency agent.

Fixes

AMS-1928 – Fix for Previous Value Formulas on Person Name Overlay Fields

  1. When using the people name overlay fields with the previous value formula, the overlays would not print on documents. This has been changed to allow for the formula to print the previous value of the field. This applies to these formulas:

    1. =PreviousVal(BondPeople_FirstName)

    2. =PreviousVal(BondPeople_MiddleName)

    3. =PreviousVal(BondPeople_LastName)

AVI-704/WFOB-357 – Correction to Bond Class Limits for PBRs and Renewals

When using bond class authority levels and performing a PBR approval or Renewal approval transaction, the penalty amount for the bond was being duplicated in consideration of the bond class limit, and depending on the bond class limits appointed, the approval would not be able to process. This has been corrected to evaluate only the penalty amount for the transaction together with the rest of other bonds on the account (for the aggregate limit) and not use both the current penalty amount and the transaction's penalty amount.

CIN-603 – Restriction for 'Public' to be Used for Question Columns

“Public” has been added to the restricted keywords list for question column names.

GRA-436 – Fixed Bond Transaction Notes from Initiate Cancellation

If a note for a bond transaction exists from a previous bond action, upon Initiate Cancellation, the bond transactional note immediately preceding Initiate Cancellation action would be deleted. This has been corrected to maintain the note from the prior transaction.

MAOB-52 – Obligee Name Available for WIP Columns

The WIP templates have been adjusted to allow for the obligee's name for the bond to be populated into the WIP statement as part of the projects.

OLR-742 – Display Fix for Inactive Underwriters

The display of the Responsible Underwriter on the Bond Page when the underwriter user is inactive has been displayed as a User Id and not as the First and Last Name. This has been corrected to display the name with a (Inactive) indicator next to the name.

SCT-3186 – Fix for the Submit and Continue for the "Edit Agent" Screen

The Submit and Continue function in the modal for this page was not saving changes for the Edit Agency screen. This issue has been repaired.

SCT-3189 – Correction for Two Scroll Bars in the Agency Currently Editing Drop Down

On the edit agent page, the select agency dropdown was displaying two drop downs. This has been repaired to show only one dropdown.

SCT-3194 – Fix for the Edit Agent Modal Pop-Up Text Alignment

The text alignment in the pop-up modal has been updated to match the proper alignment.

UFS-427 – Display Fix for People and Companies on Rejected Bond

When a new bond application was automatically rejected due to a rule, the people and/or companies were not displayed in the People and Company Information. This has been corrected to display the People and Companies from the application after the rejection.
