Features

AVOB-140 – Multi-Select Dropdown Question Type

An additional question input type is being added to allow for multiple selections from a single dropdown list as the answers for a question. When configuring this type of question, a dropdown list must be selected to present the options for selection when answering the question.

When answering the question, users will be able to select multiple items from the dropdown list.

Once selected and submitted, the answers selected will appear separated by comma(s).

AVOB-292 – CARM Web Service Configuration

An additional web service configuration type has been added to establish a connection to the CARM (CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management) web service from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for Canadian D-120 bond types.

NOTE: This integration will be expounded upon in future releases with API calls for new bonds, updates, and cancellations. It will also include how to identify D-120 bond types.

CIN-432/UFS-326 – Change to Effective Date of Action Default Behavior Setting

  • These adjustments are being made to the default behavior for the Effective Date of Action field:

    • When performing a Flat Cancel, the effective date of action will adjust to match the effective date of the bond term.

    • When performing a Cancel Bond manually after Initiate Cancellation, the effective date of action will carry over the prior effective date of action from the Initiate Cancellation transaction, regardless of the value in the UseEoAInheritsExpirationDate setting.

    • When the ‘Implement Cancellation’ job is executed, the effective date of action for the ‘Cancel Bond’ transaction after an ‘Initiate Cancellation’ will carry over the prior effective date of action from the Initiate Cancellation.

    • The UseEoAInheritsExpirationDate setting only affects bonds that have the ‘Cancel Bond’ transaction from the ‘Expire Promote’ job at the end of the bond term. If the setting is False, the effective date of action for the ‘Cancel Bond’ will carry over the prior effective date of action from the previous transaction for that bond term. If the setting is True, the effective date of action for the ‘Cancel Bond’ will match the bond term’s expiration date.

    • The setting name will be changed to: EffectiveDateOfActionExpirationBehavior.

    • The setting description will be changed to: “If set to True, the Effective Date of Action will inherit the Expiration Date during a Cancel Bond action from the ExpirePromote background job. If set to False, the Effective Date of Action will be set to match the Expiration Date of the bond term.”

FUEL-3904 – Import Reference Code Added to Bond Page

An additional field is being added to the bond page for import reference code. This will be available in the bond information section of the bond page. This field will also be added to the warehouse reporting database in the Base.Bonds table as BondRefCode.

RREX-358 – Addition of Invoice Event Flag to Reporting Premium Values Table

The InvoiceEvent column (bit) has been added to the Report.PremiumValues table in the warehouse database. This value will reflect it the bond action represents the culmination of the premium being booked. This will be unique to each client’s environment according to the invoiceable events configured for that environment.

Fixes

AMS-1597 – Employment Data Appearing on Experian API Reports

When pulling credit reports with Experian API, the Employment Information would not display on the report generated. This has been corrected to display this information when available and delivered from Experian.

AVI-409 – Implementation of Account Limits for Penalty Changes on Renewal PBRs

When performing a Renewal PBR on a bond, the transaction would not review the account limits established. This is being corrected to review and potentially refer the Renewal PBR if the account limits are exceeded due to the change made.

HAN-1046 – Localization of Account Underwriter Limits

  • The following fields will be localized and can be set as required or optional according to the carrier’s preferences:

    • Underwriter Commercial Single Limit

    • Underwriter Commercial Aggregate Limit

    • Underwriter Contract Single Limit

    • Underwriter Contract Aggregate Limit

HUD-1254 – Correction to Auto Renewal Failed Message

When a renewal has been rejected, the “Renewal Previously Rejected/Cancelled. Renewal will need to be manually processed” message would appear. There is a correction for the display of this message if there was a prior rejection of a renewal for the current term of the bond, instead of on the next future renewal.

HUD-1258 – Performance Improvements to Find Bond Search by Agency Name

When searching for bonds by the agency name, the page load was substantial if the volume of results was high. This is being optimized to load the results faster.

OLR-702/WEB-671 – Fix to Even or Odd Year Premium Calculation

When issuing new bonds that use Even or Odd year expiration designations, the premium is calculated for a single year, even if the bond term spans two years due to needing to expire in the following year. This is being corrected to allow for each year to have premium calculated, as these would be annual premium bond types.
