Features

AVOB-91 – Account Summary: Agency Code is displayed within the Account Information

When viewing an account, the Agency Name is now prefixed with the Agency Code. Agency Code and Name values are separated by a “-“. If no Agency Code is entered for the Agency, then only the Agency Name will display.

AVOB-101 – Agents List: Addition of ‘Attorney In Fact’ and ‘Producer of Record’ Designation

‘Attorney In Fact’ and ‘Producer of Record’ columns have been added to the Active Agents and Inactive Agents lists found within the Agency record. These new columns can be sorted and/or filtered on the Y/N value presented.

FUEL-2566 – International Address Validation Support

  • SmartyStreets integration with the Tinubu Surety Solution for Carriers platform has been enhanced to handle international addresses and to better handle address verification overall.

  • The generic international address format offers an alternative to maintaining multiple address block variations to support country-specific solutions. The generic format lets you manage variations in name and street address by providing a single input field for each element of an address. To accommodate variations in the address block layout and city line, you can use a set of generic input fields.

Note that the “county” filed does not display for non-US addresses.

  • A user will not be blocked from moving forward in their workflow due to these address errors:

    • When SmartyStreets cannot verify a user entered address.

    • When SmartyStreets returns errors such as “Server Error in / Application”.

    • When SmartyStreets is down.

The Country selection is shown as drop-down at the top of the address fields.

  • NOTE: The Default country is pre-populated in the drop-down based on your configuration settings. The current options are:

    • Default USA, allowing Canada.

    • Default Canada, allowing USA.

    • Only allow USA.

The ability to select from multiple matches (when available) during verification:

When using autocomplete, SmartyStreets will now populate the zip code.

For US addresses where the sub address (i.e., an apartment or suite number) is required by USPS to appear as part of Address Line 1, SmartyStreets will suggest and accept the sub address as part Address Line 1.

SCP-24 – Historical PBR Transactions to be Applied to Prior Terms

  • With this enhancement, currently available on Annual Renewable bonds only, allowed users will have the ability to process PBRs (Premium Bearing Riders) on prior or historical bond terms. Initiate Cancellation, NPBR and Flat Cancel are not included.

  • To enable specific user roles for this activity, navigate to: All>System Tables>Authority Levels>User Roles. Select the Bond Management action of Allow Submit Historic PBR and set to true.

If enabled, user will have the option to navigate to the bond and use the History tab. The last version of a bond term before the next renewal submission will have a pencil option.

The user will select the version they wish to transact on. In the Actions drop down, the user will have a Submit Historic PBR action available.

  • When that action is selected, user will be able to process the rider in the same manner as a PBR on active bond versions. This includes the ability to pro-rate premium (if using that feature) or premium, commission, and/or fee overrides.

  • In addition, after the item is submitted, it will show in the history and become the option to further transact on if needed. The information will be passed via TransSync for downstream consumption.

    • NOTE: For TransSync, the BondActionId for this transaction is 70.

SCP-45 – Addition of Bond Period/Version to the History Details

If a user selects the History option for a bond followed by History detail, the following fields of information will now display: effective date, expiration date, bond version, and bond user version.

The addition of the effective date, expiration date, bond version and bond user version will make it easier for the user to identify which particular transaction they would like to view.

Fixes

AMS-633 – Fixed Duplicate Results on Pending Bonds Queue

When viewing the ‘My Branches’ filter in the Pending Bonds queue, duplicates have been handled to only have distinct results in the queue. Duplicates had been shown when the bond had been reassigned to the current user viewing the queue.

AMS-677/AVI-458 – Corrected Error for Adding Attachments on Bond after the ‘Send Approval Conditions’ and ‘Requote’ Actions

After performing a Send Approval Conditions or the Requote bond actions, errors would occur when uploading attachments to the bond until another action was taken. This has been corrected to allow for the attachment uploads.

AMS-763 – Fixed Column Label for Account Name on Incomplete Bond Applications

  • On the Incomplete Bond Applications queue, the grid label previously named “Applicant Name” has been corrected to accurately be labeled as “Account Name.”

  • NOTE: the account name will only populate when the application is from an existing account.

CIN-211 – Corrected Editing of Store Styling for Agency SureLYNX CSS

When editing an agency entering the Store Style, the changes entered would not save when submitting the page. This has been corrected to allow for the content to be saved for the agency.

CIN-296 – Fixed Premium Tier Results after Pushing NPBR to Renewal

When performing an NPBR and pushing the changes to the bond’s renewal, the premium tier breakdown for the Renewal NPBR transaction would not be saved. This has been corrected to maintain the information on the new Renewal NPBR transaction.

FUEL-2604 – Adjustments for Account Application Changes

  • This item was previously initially released under FUEL-2386 in Sprint 179. However, due to unforeseen consequences, had stopped working. That has now been corrected. As in the 179 release notes:

    • This item allows for the correct account questions and rules to be applied on applications for future bonds if a bond configuration’s account application template is changed. Previously if a user were to change a bond configuration’s account application template, any additional bonds purchased with that account would not have reflected the new application questions and rules. This has been adjusted to show these questions and apply the appropriate rules.

HUD-540 – Adjusted Company and People Tiles to Allow Special Characters in the Names

  • Additional special characters have been included to be listed in the name fields for people and companies entered. These special characters are:

    • !

    • /
