Features

Fuel-1264 – Prevention of New Bonds on Accounts with Inactive Agency

Previously, if an account was active but the agency associated with the account was inactive, a user would still be able to issue bonds on the account, still associating them with inactive agency. To assist with preventing potential negative impact, an additional secured action has been created to allow/disallow entering bonds on accounts associated to inactive agencies.

If allowed, users will be prompted to confirm they want to submit a bond on the account associated to an inactive agency.

If disallowed, users will be notified the account’s agency is inactive.

Fuel-2416 – Editable Premium Rate Definition Variables at Cancellation Actions

When a bond is using a premium rate definition but does not have the variable(s) answered, these fields have been made editable during the Flat Cancel and Initiate Cancellation bond actions.

Fuel-2556 – Allowed Action for when a User can Change an Agency on a Bond

  • Previously, the Bond Management allowed action of ‘Allow user to change agency’ allowed for a True or False option. If set to True, the user would be able to change the agency at certain actions. This setting has now been expanded so that a system administrator can set the action to True but also indicate what specific actions are allowed. The example below has the setting as True but the associated action as 14 (Submit Renewal Application). This means the user cannot change the associated agency at PBR but can change the agency at renewal.

    • NOTE: Changing agency is only allowed for Submit Premium Bearing Rider (6), Submit Renewal Application (14), and Submit Renewal PBR (41). All other actions are already restricted per system design. This addition allows this to be further restricted for these three options.

Fixes

Fuel-2510 – Assignment of Responsible Underwriter for SureLYNX Bonds

While the responsible underwriter is assigned automatically for agent users applying for bonds, SureLYNX bond applications would leave the responsible underwriter blank. This has been altered to automatically assign the responsible underwriter in the same manner as for a bond entered by an agent user.

Fuel-2524 – Fixed Rejected Renewal Application Email Template Trigger

If a renewal application is referred and subsequently rejected or is automatically rejected by underwriting rules, email templates with the Rejected Renewal Application bond trigger will be sent.

Fuel-2561 – Allowing for Optional Document Sets on Rejection Actions

Previously, if a renewal application or a PBR was rejected, any optional document set chosen to be displayed would not generate, and therefore, would not be shown when selecting Current Documents. This item changes this behavior so that if an optional document set is chosen during a rejection action, the documents now generate and display when selecting Current Documents.

Fuel-2574 – Corrected Additional Fees Being Removed during NPBR

When performing an NPBR transaction, the additional fees would be dropped from the bond. This has been corrected to maintain the fees on the bonds unless adjusted with a premium bearing transaction.

Fuel-2575 – Wholesaler Commission to be $0 unless a Sub-Agency Commission Applies

When using a sub-agency which calculates a separate sub-agency commission amount, the wholesaler commission amount will be calculated as (total) commission amount minus the calculated sub-agency commission amount. If there is no sub-agency commission amount calculated, the wholesaler commission amount will not be calculated and will be set to $0.
