Features
FUEL-1163 – Date Validation for Estimated Completion Dates
Additional validation has been added to the Estimated Completion Date field for contract bonds. The date entered will not be able to be equal or prior to the effective date of the bond (or the bid date for bid bonds).
This validation is applied both at the new bond submission (above) and with subsequent bond transactions (below).
FUEL-1176 – Completion Time Surcharge Months for Bond Configurations
Completion Time Offset Months has been added for bond configurations using completion time surcharge (generally applicable to contract bonds only). This value will determine the number of months between the effective date of the bond and the estimated completion date before the completion time surcharge begins to be charged. This value overrides the existing global system setting, located at: All>Setup>Settings>Premium> CompletionTimeOffsetMonths. If this value is not entered on the bond configuration, the system setting will determine the number of months for the completion time surcharge calculation.
This new field is located at: All>Maintain Bond>Configure Bond>Term tab.
FUEL-2269 – Limitation of Responsible Underwriter when User is Branch Restricted
The ResponsibleUwBranchRest setting has been added for controlling the assignment of responsible underwriters. If the setting is True, the underwriter selection is limited to users that have that branch assigned in their profile.
This setting is located at: All>Setup>Settings>System Defaults.
The setting will be delivered as False, which would maintain the existing functionality prior to this feature.
The following system behavior will apply if the setting is True:
When an account or bond is being submitted (not applicable to agents), the users available as Responsible Underwriters will be limited to those that are assigned to the branch corresponding to the agency for the bond or account applications.
When selecting a Responsible Underwriter for an agency (either Commercial or Contract), the list available is limited to the available underwriters from the branch of the agency.
The Submit an Account process has been adjusted to have the agency selection in the process prior to the selection of the Responsible Underwriter. As the agency is selected, the available underwriter options will adjust to the appropriate list.
The branch selection on the agency create and edit pages has been adjusted to be before the underwriter selection dropdowns.
Fixes
FUEL-1297 – Fixed Prorate Display with Recalculate Button for Renewal PBRs
When performing a Renewal PBR transaction while using rider pro-rating, the display of the pro-rated segments of premium would not display in the Premium Details pop-up after clicking the Recalculate button in the middle of the transaction. This has been adjusted to display the pro-rated breakdown.
NOTE: The pro-rated calculation after completing the Renewal PBR has been calculating as intended, this issue is only for when previewing the change with the Recalculate button.
FUEL-2247 – Corrected Indexed Question Groups when Adding Entries After Only One Entry is Made on the New Bond Transaction
After submitting a bond with answers to questions that pertains to an indexible question group, any additional entries to the indexible question group would not be saved on subsequent transactions. This has been corrected to allow for additional entries on indexible question groups after the initial bond application.
FUEL-2304 – Fixed BondDetails_ApprovalConditions Overlay on Documents
The overlay for the approval conditions field has been corrected to be able to be used on document templates to be printed.
