Feature Highlight

16090 – Fuzzy Search

The Quick Search feature has been enhanced to include fuzzy searching. The system will compile indexes of bond and account information to be used for searching. This data is recompiled every five minutes. The searching function is detailed below:

The search text entered into the search bar is submitted to both the Bonds and Accounts indexes in the Fuzzy Search.
The Bonds index looks for each word in the search text for all of these fields:
- Bond Title
- Agency Name
- Bond Number
- Tracking Number
- Obligee Name
- Obligee City
- Obligee State
- Obligee State Abbreviation
- Applicant Name
- People on the bond:
  - First Name
  - Last Name
  - Email
- Companies on the bond:
  - Company Name
  - Email
  - Phone
The Accounts index has these fields:
- People on the account:
  - First Name
  - Last Name
  - Email
- Account Name
- Account Number
- Companies on the account:
  - Company Name
  - Email
  - Phone
- Tracking Number

Search entries are NOT flagged for 'Fuzzy' searching for the following:
- Numeric Only Digits (i.e. Tracking, Account, or Bond Numbers)
- State Abbreviations
- Bond Number
  - By default, a regular expression pattern match is designed based on the bond number configurations setup in the system.
    - For example, if using a bond number prefix and/or suffix, the search will recognize these as bond numbers and not use fuzzy searching for the entry.
  - If the carrier is using a bond number service, a custom regular expression is entered into the new BondNumberRegexOverride setting. Contact eSURETY® Support for assistance with this value.
- Email
- Phone Number
  - NOTE: The email and phone type entries use the same text patterns that are used when the system validates input. If an invalid email or phone is entered, the entry will use fuzzy searching.
- Wildcard Searching
  - The search supports using asterisks as wildcards at the beginning and/or end of a search text. Wildcard and fuzzy searching cannot be combined, so when an asterisk is used, fuzzy searching will not be used.
  - Wildcard searching is used by adding an asterisk within a search as for any unknown terms. Add the asterisk at the begin of the search to find results ending with the text after the asterisk. Add the asterisk at the end of the search to find results beginning with the text before the asterisk. Add the asterisk at the begin and end of the search to find results contained between the two asterisks.

Features

17568 – Overlay Formula for Dividing by One Thousand

An additional overlay formula has been added to calculate a field’s value by 1,000. For example: =DivideBy1000(PremiumDetails_Penalty).

19053 – Adjust BondByBondNumber API for Bonds with Duplicate Bond Numbers

The BondByBondNumber API web service has been adjusted to provide the most recently transacted upon bond’s information. Previously this API would not allow pulling information when the bond number was a duplicate.

19093 – Estimated Completion Date Moved to Premium Section of Bond Page

The estimated completion date field has been moved to the Premium section of the bond page. This is also always viewable for all contract bonds, when it was previously only viewable during a transaction.

19048 – Adjusted Copy Bond for Agency State Licensing

When using agency state licensing, agency assignments from a configuration would be copied to a new configuration regardless of the state licensing for the state of the new configuration. This has been corrected to retain agency assignments for the new configuration, only if the agency is licensed in the state of the new configuration. This only applies for instances when a client is using the agency state licensing feature.

19079 – Fixed Allowed Account/Bond Actions Overlap

The allowed actions for user roles pertaining to account and bond access to the following has been corrected:
- Allow Action Access
- Allow Attachment Access
- Allow Attachment Deleting
- Allow Attachment Uploading
- Allow Private Attachments
- Allow Diary Access
- Allow Access to History Menu
Previously the bond type allowed actions would function for both bonds and accounts.

19327 – Corrected Display of Email Template and Page Message Overlay Fields

The overlay field categories for email templates and page messages were not able to be opened. This has been corrected for proper display.
