Features
3846 – Added Agency Code to Maintain Bonds: Assign Agency Page
The agency code has been added as another column to the Maintain Bond: Assign Agency page for additional reference when selecting the agency or adjusting commission settings.
4157 – Added Functionality to Search for Obligee by Code in Build a Bond
When building a new commercial bond, the obligee can be searched for by obligee code.
5585 – Added Agency Code to Pending Bonds Queue
The agency code has been added to the Pending Bonds Queue for additional reference when searching and filtering the content.
5964 – New Action to Cancel Renewals
A new action has been created to cancel purchased renewals. This action is used after a renewal purchase but before the renewal has been promoted to be the live bond. This action also refunds the premium for the renewal. After this action is performed, the renewal is removed from the bond page. If a renewal is needed after this action is performed, a new renewal application can be submitted as the first.
6373 – Added the Attorney-In-Fact Middle Name Field to the AttorneyInFactName Overlay Field
The middle name of a carrier attorney-in-fact or an agent attorney-in-fact will now be included in the AttorneyInFactName overlay field. The middle name field has also been added to the carrier attorney-in-fact page to accommodate this addition.
7669 – Set Pending Bonds and Pending Quotes Queues to Default to the ‘All’ Filter
The Pending Bonds and Pending Quotes queues have been set to default the branch filter to ‘All’.
NOTE: This is for non-branch restricted users. For branch restricted users, the ‘All’ branch filter is not available, and the filter will continue to default to ‘My Branches.’
7673 – Localized Pending Bonds, Pending Quotes, and Pending Renewals Queues
The Pending Bonds, Pending Quotes, and Pending Renewals queues have been localized to allow for them to be renamed according to each client’s business needs. Please contact e-SURETY™ Support for assistance in making changes to their names.
7944 – Expanded the Reinsurance Company Code Field from Five Characters to Thirty
The reinsurance company code field has been expanded to allow thirty characters rather than the previous limit of five characters.
8132 –Web Service Agent/User Authorization Token
The e-SURETY™ Web Service has been expanded to include additions and updates to agent, CSR, and admin type users. These users can also have an authentication code generated as a single-sign-on feature.
Eight new web service methods have been added:

DefaultCommercialAuthLevelId - Default Commercial authority level to assign to new CSR and admin users.
DefaultContractAuthLevelId - Default Contract authority level to assign to new CSR and admin users.

8154 – Agency Update Webservice Call to Allow Agency Default Commission to not be Entered
The e-SURETY™ Agency Webservice will now allow the Agency Commission field to be left empty. If empty, the agency’s default commission rates will not be updated, and these rates will remain the same. If a value is entered the agency’s default commission rates will be updated. This will affect the Purchase Rate, Renewal Rate, SureLYNX Purchase Rate, and SureLYNX Renewal Rate fields for the agency.

3709 – Renamed the Columns for Carrier Bond Numbers and Agent Signatures
The column name for carrier bond numbers had been mis-labeled as ‘Agents.’ This has been correctly labeled ‘Bond Numbers.’
The column name for agent signatures had been mis-labeled as ‘Carrier Seal.’ This has been correctly labeled ‘Agents Signature.’
4593 – Alphabetized the States for the Bond/Agency Assignment Pages
The states listed for commercial bond configurations in the Agencies: Assign Bonds page had listed states in the order in which their bond configurations were created. This has been corrected to list the states in alphabetical order.
Likewise, the states listed for agencies in the Maintain Bond: Assign Agencies page had listed states in the order in which their agencies were created. This has been corrected to list the state in alphabetical order.
4889 – Adjusted the Copy Bond Feature to Allow for Copies of Bond Configurations with the Maximum Number of Characters in the Bond Title
The Copy Bond feature had not allowed for configurations to be copied if the original configuration’s bond title was at or within 4 characters of the maximum length of 150 characters. The Copy Bond feature will now allow the copy to proceed and will name the new bond ‘Copy <name of original configuration>’ but will remove any characters at the end of the title that exceed the 150-character limit.
NOTE: This will not alter the original bond configuration’s title.
5120 – Removed Inactivated Applications from being able to be Selected to Apply to a Bond Configuration
Inactivated application folders (Root, Account, Class, or Category) had been available to be selected when applying an application folder to a bond configuration. This has been corrected to only allow for active application folders to be available to be applied to a bond configuration.
5336 – Fixed Pending Bonds Queue to Exclude Rejected Referrals
The Pending Bonds queue had included bond that had been rejected. This has been corrected to allow only referred bonds to populate the queue.
NOTE: Rejected bonds are still available by alternate searching methods.
6220 – Disallowed Agent Users from Logging In when Agent or its Agency is Inactivated
Inactive agents or agents from an inactive agency had previously been able to continue to log into e-SURETY™. This has been corrected to exclude these users from having access to the system.
7670 – Fixed Pending Bonds Queue to Include State, Branch, and Last Action
The Pending Bonds queue had not been including the State, Branch, and Last Action information for the bond in their corresponding columns. This has been corrected to display the information.
7671 – Fixed Pending Quotes Queue to Include State and Penalty Amount
The Pending Quotes queue had not included the state information for the bond, and the penalty amount was being displayed as $0. This has been corrected to populate the state column and display the correct penalty amount in the penalty column.
7672 – Fixed Pending Quotes Queue to Exclude Cancelled Bonds
The Pending Quotes queue had included bonds with quoted renewals, although the active bond had already been cancelled. This has been corrected to include quotes only from new bonds and renewal quotes from non-cancelled bonds.
