3860 – Test Mode for Bond Configurations
Bond configurations can be placed into ‘Test Mode.’ This feature is set on the bond configuration at the following location: All>Maintain Bond>[Select Bond Configuration]>Assign Agencies.
When activated on a bond configuration, this feature includes the following:
The bond configuration will not be available for purchase through any agency, except agencies marked as a ‘Test Agency’ in their setup.
The bond configuration will not use its carrier’s bond numbers, but rather will use bond numbers from the ‘Test Mode Bond Numbers.’
To setup the ‘Test Mode Bond Numbers’ to go: All>System Tables>Carriers>Setup Test Mode Bond Number.
This will function the same as regular carrier bond number blocks.
Once a bond configuration is taken off Test Mode, the bond numbers will be generated from the bond configuration’s carrier as before turning on Test Mode.
The bond configuration will use the Test Mode payment processor configuration, rather than the payment processor assignments set up for live transactions.
The bond configuration will use the Test Mode credit reporting configuration, rather than the credit reporting assignments set up for live transactions.

The time zone setting for client servers is now static. This allows clients to have their server set to a specific time zone.
